Wellness Wednesday

September Wellness Wednesday
Sponsored by McWilliams Heating Plumbing

Wellness Wednesday will be held on September 18 at Noon at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension office. This month’s speaker will be Stacy Dicks with McWilliams Heating Plumbing, this month’s sponsor. Her presentation is “Finding Balance on the Road to Success: Are We Traveling Through Life on a Flat Tire?”
In today’s fast-paced world, nearly half of U.S. workers report feeling mentally and physically exhausted by the end of the workday. This exhaustion is a sign that many of us may be neglecting essential aspects of our overall well-being. The key to true success lies in balancing the EIGHT DIMENSIONS OF WELLNESS: Emotional, Spiritual, Intellectual, Physical, Environmental, Financial, Occupational and Social.
This presentation will explore how these dimensions interconnect, and how neglecting even one can feel like driving through life on a flat tire – hindering progress and reducing our overall quality of life. By understanding and nurturing each dimension, we can achieve a more balanced, fulfilling and sustainable path to success.
Wellness Wednesday are free and open to everyone. Lunch is provided. Please RSVP to 598-7744 or to 598-3682. For information contact the Chamber offices at 598 3682 or email info@shelbycountychamber.com.
