SCSO Employee Luncheon

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office will be honoring our employees with a luncheon on Thursday, May 19 at our office located at 100 Hurst Street in Center. Shelby County’s telecommunicators, correctional officers, deputies, investigators, and administrators are the backbone of this agency. Our telecommunicators are the unseen heroes behind every call placed to our agency. They are the lifeline in the event of an emergency, and they care for this county. Our correctional officers show up every day to keep our inmates safe. Their job is not easy, but they are devoted and the jail could not operate without them. Our deputies and investigators put their lives on the line daily. They face the unimaginable, with minimal recognition for a career they have been called to do. Our administrators keep the office running. Their dedication to this office is evident in their work. Our staff works long hours. They miss holidays, family events, and so much more. It takes every person we have to make this office operate, and we are thankful for each and everyone we have. If you are an individual, business or organization that would like to contribute to this luncheon whether it be through food, dessert, drinks, gifts, etc., the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office would greatly appreciate your support. Persons interested in contributing are asked to contact Leah Chase at 936-598-5601 or by email at leah.chase@co.shelby.tx.us. We also invite the public to stop by on Thursday, May 19 and meet our staff. We are proud of our office and the job we are doing. Cards of encouragement may be mailed to Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, Attn: Leah Chase, 100 Hurst Street, Center, TX 75935.
