A Center man was arrested by San Augustine County Sheriff’s Deputies last Saturday for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year old girl in December of 2013. Twenty-one year old Christian Rios is being held in the San Augustine County Jail on a first-degree felony charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child. According to Chief Deputy Gary Cunningham, Rios was a friend of the victim’s family, and he forcefully sexually assaulted the teenager. Rios is also being held on a probation violation in Shelby County.
