We have learned of the death of Shelby County Outreach Ministries’ Executive Director Pam White. Friends say Ms. White apparently suffered a massive heart attack. Pam White was the driving force behind the outreach ministries programs in Shelby & San Augustine Counties, including the nutrition sites, Meals on Wheels in both counties, in addition to the Unique Boutique store in East Center, the Helping Hands Outreach, and food pantry, as well as a popular community leader and friend. Funeral service for 53-year old Pam White is pending at Watson & Sons.
