The Center Municipal Airport Advisory Board an the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce are making preparations for the Center Fly-in Young Eagle Rally to be held Saturday, May 17 at the Center Municipal Airport. The Young Eagle Rally provides free airplane rides for students ages 8 to 17. For students to participate, email info@shelbycountychamber.com or call 598-3682 or come by the chamber office on the downtown Center square to preregister on or before May 15. There will be a limited number of registrations taken for the event. The Center Fly-in committee will be providing a hot dog lunch, which includes chips and a drink. Gates will open at 9 a.m. with flights beginning at 10 a.m.
