Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces pending service for Cindy Hargrove Sharp of Joaquin. She passed away Sunday at her residence. That’s pending service for Cindy Hargrove Sharp of Joaquin at Watson & Sons.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home was in charge of graveside service Sunday for 101-year old Jack C. Barron of Center. He passed away Saturday at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. Jack Barron owned and operated Builders Supply Company on Shelbyville Street for more than 40 years. He was also a former Center City Council member. Graveside service was held at Oaklawn Memorial Park. Among Jack Barron’s survivors was his daughter, Polly Smith of Center.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home was in charge of service Sunday for 65-year old Clyde Wayne Adams of Center. He passed away Friday at Nacogdoches Medical Center. Service was held at Watson & Sons Chapel with interment at Oaklawn Memorial Park. Among Clyde Wayne Adams’ survivors are, his wife Pat Adams of Center; son, Chad Adams of Center; daughter, Pattie Redmon of Center; sisters-in-law, Pennie Cassell of Shreveport, Jeanene Porter of Deadwood, and Evlyn Porter of Center; and brother-in-law, Joe Porter of Center.

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home of San Augustine was in charge of funeral service yesterday for 95-year old John T. Ford, a long-time resident of the Chinquapin Community in San Augustine County. He passed away last Thursday in Center. Service was held at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, with interment at Chinquapin Cemetery. Among John T. Ford’s survivors are daughters, Margie Bryan of San Augustine and Diece Patterson of Patroon; and son, William Ford of San Augustine.

 

Watson & Sons announces service for 6-year old Logan Joel Simmons of Center. Logan was a first grade student at Excelsior ISD. Service will be at 2 Tuesday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Shady Grove Cemetery in Nacogdoches County. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 today at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Among Logan Simmons survivors are, his parents, Michael and Sarah Simmons of Center; sisters, Breonna Simmons and MaKenna Simmons of Center; grandparents, Rhonda Alexander of Corrigan, Ronnie McCarty of Nacogdoches, Kay Williams of Nacogdoches and Kennith Simmons of Tawakoni; great grandparents, Ann and Robert Malnar of Corrigan, Wesley Alexander of Nacogdoches, Betty and Walter McCarty of Nacogdoches and Woody Simmons of Tawakoni; and great great grandparent, Margarette Kinder of Cleveland.

 

Taylor Funeral Home of Timpson announces service for 70-year old John Cohron Bush, Jr. of Clayton. He passed away Friday in Longview. Service will be at 10 this morning at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Corinth Cemetery, Timpson. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 Sunday at Taylor Funeral Home. Among John Cohron Bush, Jr’s survivors are, his wife Angela Davis Bush of Clayton; sons, Todd Bush of Timpson, Tim Bush and Sean Bush, all of Timpson, and Trevin Bush of Kentucky; daughters, Leslie Wood of Tennessee, and Ashley Hall of Austin; brother, Tommy Bush of Gary; sisters, Beth Tipton and Sandra Brownlow, both of Timpson.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 66-year old Marilyn Kay Vaughn of Shelbyville. She passed away Saturday in Shreveport. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Service will be at 4 Tuesday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Strong Cemetery in Huxley. Among Marilyn Kay Vaughn's survivors are her husband, J.C. Vaughn of Shelbyville; daughter, Charlotte Gunn of Biloxi, MS; mother, Helen Buchanan of Pineville, La.; sisters, Dottie Hall of Pennsylvania and Barbi Kokemor of Pineville, Louisiana; step-children, Clay Vaughn of Huxley and Pamela Schroeder of Pasadena. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Fannie Brown Booth Library, 619 Tenaha Street, Center, Texas 75935 and Shelby County Children’s Advocacy Center, 220 Field Street, Center, Texas 75935.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces serivce for 71-year old Mary Mixon of Huxley, a resident of Pine Grove Nursing Home. She passed away Saturday at Nacogdoches Memorial Hosptial. Service will be at 1 Tuesday at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Waldrop Cemetery in Panola County. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Tuesday at Mangum Funeral Home. Among Mary Mixon's survivors are daughters, Jeanie Matheny and Renee Dorsey of Huxley; sisters, Nelva Jean Wallace of Henderson, Juanita Dean LaGrone of Deadwood and JoNell LaGrone of Deadwood; and a special friend, Hazel McKenzie of Center.

 

Community Funeral Home of Center announces service for 79-year old Mrs. Lorene Garrett of Center. Service will be at 11 Tuesday morning at St. Paul Baptist Church in Center, with interment at Westview Cemetery in Center. The body will lie in state from 10 to 11. Among Lorene Garrett’s survivors are nephews, James Moore of San Augustine and Steve Moore of Nacogdoches; a niece, Lannette Scott of Center.
