The City of Center Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors will be meeting at 12 noon today at city hall, and among the agenda items will be sponsorship of the Airport Weather Observation System Project; and sponsorship of a Natural Gas Vehicle Symposium that the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce is proposing. In addition the EDC board will receive an update on economic development projects, including Tenet’s Medical ER Department facility, Texas Capital Fund Projects, which are the business assistance grants for Center Motor Company and the CP Homes assisted living facility, Loop 500 construction and Loop 500 Boring Projects.
