The Shelbyville Volunteer Fire Department will be having one of their key fundraising events on Saturday as the annual barbecue fundraiser will be held at the first station at the Top of the Hill. Fire Chief Chris Koltonski said the department depends on this fundraiser to assist with its annual operational costs, and having your attendance would be very much appreciated. Plates will be $7 with choice of BBQ chicken or sausage, potato salad, beans, dessert, and a drink. Meals will be served from 11am until all gone. In addition, the Shelbyville Volunteer Fire Dept. is having a fundraiser raffle. Prizes are a 50 inch flat screen television and 2 fish fryers. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20, and you need not be present to win.
