A Panola County man has been sentenced to federal prison yesterday for drug trafficking violations. According to U.S. Attorney John M. Bales, 36-year old Brandon Lee Lagrone of Carthage pleaded guilty in December last year to using a telephone to facilitate the commission of a felony offense of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 36 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Leonard E. Davis in Tyler. Lagrone and three others were indicted by a federal grand jury in March of last year and charged with drug trafficking violations.
