Funeral Notices: 4/16/14

Mangum Funeral Home announces service for 94-year old Marleta Todd Chadwick of Center. She passed away Monday. Service will be at 10:30 Thursday at First Baptist Church in Center, with burial at Oaklawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7:30 today at Mangum Funeral Home. Among Marleta Todd Chadwick's survivors are children, David Chadwick of Center, Martha Lou Scott of Waco, and Carleta Sandeen of Houston. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Center, the Chadwick Endowed Scholarship of East Texas Baptist University, the Chadwick Family Endowed Scholarship at Baylor University, or Fannie Brown Booth Library in Center.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 92-year old Marie Cannon Manning of Waco, formerly of Center. She passed away Tuesday in Waco. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 Thursday at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Service will be at 2 Friday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center. Among Marie Cannon Manning's survivors is her daughter, Renee Manning Johnson of Marlin.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 49-year old Kimberlie Flournoy Weaver of Waco. Service will be at 4 this afternoon at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Rather Cemetery in Shelbyville. Among Kimberlie Flournoy Weaver’s survivors are her children, Jason Weaver of Dallas, Nicole Menchaca of Mason, Christina Pruitt of Hewitt, Chris Weaver of Timpson, Crystal Chisenhall of Cener and Yalonda Weaver of Waco; her father, Danny Flournoy of Center; and brothers, Andy Flournoy and Wesley Flournoy, both of Center.

 

Taylor Funeral Home in Timpson announces service for 77-year old Doris Faye (Windham) Scott of Timpson. Service will be at 2 this afternoon at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel, with interment at Weaver Cemetery. Among Doris Faye (Windham) Scott’s survivors are a son, Rex Scott of Waskom; daughters, Susie Crelia of Nacogdoches and Renee Faulkner of Appleby; a brother, David Windham of Marshall; brother-in-law, Jimmy Scott of Lake Jackson; and sister-in-law, Estelle Burgay of Timpson

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home announces service for 89-year old Mrs. Eva “Tootsie” Mixon of Broaddus. Service will be at 2 today at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, with burial in the Runnels Cemetery in San Augustine County. Visitation will be from noon till service time at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home. Among Eva “Tootsie” Mixon’s survivors are, sons, Dale Mixon of Broaddus and J.W. Mixon of Dayton; daughters, Linda Williams of Lufkin and Rita Carrell of Lufkin; sister, Florence Faye Rushing of Deer Park; and sister-in-law, Eloise Wimberly of Broaddus.

 

Hicks Mortuary of Center announces service for 73-year old Patricia Polley of Center. Service will be at 1 Friday at Mt. Zion CME Church in Center, with burial at McWilliams Cemetery in Shelbyville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 Thursday at Hicks Chapel  Among Patricia Polley's survivors are, daughters, Fonda Polley & Brandi Polley of Center; step-daughter: Vivian Polley Cartwright (Clifton) of Tenaha; Brothers, Douglas Himes of Dallas & Standley Himes of Center; and Sisters, Feleshia Cochran of Ft. Worth & Dr. Shannon Suber of Dallas.

 

Community Funeral Home of Center announces service for 4-month old Kaleigh JaNae Jenkins. She passed away Saturday at Children's Medical Center in Dallas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 Friday at Community Funeral Home. Service will be Saturday at Loop 500 Church of Christ in Center. Among Kaleigh JaNae Jenkins' survivors are her parents, James and LaMetra Jenkins; siblings: ZaMarkus Moton, Ellis Ray Hoyt, Jamie Jenkins, Justin Jenkins, Kenneth Jenkins, James Jenkins, Tommy Lee Jenkins, Leslie Holman, Elizabeth Jenkins, and LaShanzdoil Harris; and grandparents, Billy and Kathryn Cartwright, and the late Ennis and Lurlean Jenkins.
