Funeral Notices: 4/10/14

 

Starr Funeral Home of Hemphill announces service for Sabine County Judge, 78-year old Charles Edward Watson of Rosevine. He died Tuesday morning in the Mount Moriah Health & Rehab Center in Hemphill. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 Thursday in the Starr Funeral Home. Service will be at 2 Friday in the First Baptist Church in Hemphill, with burial at Gravelhill Cemetery. Judge Charles Watson is survived by his wife, Barbara Watson of Rosevine; sons, Wyatt Edward Watson of Pineland, and Damon Lee Watson of Rosevine; daughter, Deena Jean Nutt of Hurst; sisters, Fayrene Tomlinson of Hemphill, and Barbara Ann Laughlin of Georgia. Judge Watson was in the fourth year of his second term in office as Sabine County Judge.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces service for 79-year old Jimmie Devo Parks, Sr. of Center. He passed away yesterday at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. Service will be at 10 Saturday morning at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Spann's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 4 today, and from 8 to 8 Saturday at Mangum Funeral Home. Among Jimmie Devo Parks, Sr's survivors are, five children, Charles Parks, Shelby Tyre Pope, Susan Windham, Rose Ramirez and Lance Parks, all of Center; a special friend, Dorothy Murphy of Center; sister, Hilda McClung of Missouri; brother-in-law, and Joe Spann of Cleveland.

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine announces a graveside service for 76-year old Rose Marie Willet of San Augustine. She passed away Tuesday in San Augustine. Graveside service will be at 1 Friday at Pickard Cemetery in San Augustine County. Rose Marie Williett is survived by her sister, Mattie Guthrie of Lake Jackson; and nephew, Michael Wendel of San Augustine.
