Center Broadcasting received word just before 9 Tuesday morning that the boil water notice in the City of San Augustine had been lifted. Water Superintendent Chris Anding notified us of the all clear after lab results came back there was no threat of harmful bacteria or microbes in the City of San Augustine’s water supply. He said after receiving the all clear, he notified TCEQ who gave the green light to lift the boil water notice. Again, the boil water notice issued last Thursday in the City of San Augustine, has been lifted.
