Funeral Notices: 4/4/14

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 94-year old Thurman Ross “T.R.” Golding of Center. He passed away Thursday at his residence. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 this evening at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Service will be at 2 Saturday at First Baptist Church in Center, followed by Masonic Rites under the direction of Sam Samford Masonic Lodge #149. A military honors graveside service will follow at Wimberly Cemetery in Huxley under the direction of VFW Post #8904. Among T.R. Golding’s survivors are his wife, Dot Golding of Center; daughters, Sandra Golding Palmer of Nacogdoches, Patricia Golding Elizondo of San Antonio, Susan Golding of North Carolina, and Debbie Lawson of Groves; step daughters, Carole Sonmor of Houston and Judy Addison Glaze of Stanley, Louisiana; and step son, Robert Addison of Winnie. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to Shriners’ Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Florida 33607 or a charity of choice.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 73-year old Brian Williams of Center. He passed away Thursday at his residence. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 Saturday at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Service will be at 2 Sunday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Old Salem Cemetery in Center. Among Brian Williams’ survivors are a son, Adam Brian Williams of England; daughters, Louise Claudette Burton of England and Natasha Louise Williams of Houston; special friend, Connie Lengl; brother-in-law Oren Millie Warr of Center; and sister-in-law Myra Wright of Bridge City.

 

Taylor Funeral Home of Timpson announces service for 70-year old Colleen Frances Linebarger of Timpson. She passed away Thursday in Nacogdoches. Service will be at 10 Saturday at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Corinth Cemetery in Timpson. Among Colleen Linebarger’s survivors are sons, Matthew Linebarger of Tenaha, Christopher  Linebarger of Timpson; daughters, Tamara Linebarger of Timpson and Tonie Schaffer of Center Point, Alabama; brothers, Thomas O’Brien and Gerald O’Brien, both of California; and sister, Theresa O’Brien of Oregon.

 

Taylor Funeral Home of Timpson announces service for 85-year old Ailene Lilly of Timpson. Service will be at 2 Saturday at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel, with interment at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at Taylor Funeral Home. Among Ailene Lilly's survivors are sons, David O. Lilly of Timpson, Danny Lilly of Timpson and Dennis Lilly of Garrison; and daughter, Dorinda "Lulu" Warren of Nacogdoches.

 

Garner & Sons Mortuary of San Augustine announces service for 74-year old Willow Dean Teal of San Augustine. Service will be at 1 Saturday at True Vine Baptist Church, with interment in Greer Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 9 today at Garner & Sons Chapel. Among Willow Dean Teal’s survivors is a son, Darren G. Teal of Universal City; and a sister, Annie Faye Berry of Center.

 

Community Funeral Home of Center announces service for 89-year old Dora House of Joaquin. She passed away March 27 at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 4 Saturday at Community Funeral Home Chapel. Her ashes will be interred at Haslam Cemetery.
