Funeral Notices: 4/2/14

Watson and Sons Funeral Home announces service for 75-year old Bobby Glen Rash of the Campti Community. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Service will be at 3 Thursday at Sardis Pentecostal Church, with interment at Brandon Memorial Cemetery in the Sardis Community. Among Bobby Glen Rash’s survivors are his wife, LaNell Rash of the Campti; daughter, Lisa Eaves of Campti; brother, Kenneth Rash of Shelbyville; sisters, Mammie Ener of Milam, Iva Nell Miller of Center, Wanda Price of San Augustine, Martha Dennis of Huntington and Betty Rhame of Center; mother-in-law, Zannie Gay Belrose of Center; sisters-in-law, Lillian Shofner of Center, Melba Rodgers of Joaquin and Kathryn Schillings of Shelbyville; and brothers-in-law, Lonnie Belrose, Lester Belrose and Leo Belrose, all of Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brandon Memorial Cemetery Fund, 6034 FM 414, Center, in memory of Bobby Glen Rash.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces funeral service for 80-year old Dorothy Jean Lawson of Joaquin. She passed away Tuesday at her residence. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 this evening at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Service will be held at 11 Thursday morning at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Lone Cedar Cemetery in Joaquin. Among Dorothy Jean Lawson’s survivors are sons, John Paul Lawson and Mike Lawson. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lone Cedar Cemetery Fund.

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home announces a graveside service for 75-year old Gordon James Dillon of Broaddus. Graveside service will be at 3 this afternoon at Broaddus Cemetery. Among Gordon James Dillon’s survivors are his sons, Stephen Dillon of League City, Britt Wilson of Austin, and Chris Wilson of Dickinson; daughter, Kimberly LoCaste of Wisconsin; brother, Bill Dillon of Texas City, Harlan Dillon of Rome, New York and a Sister, Beverly Menard.

 

Taylor Funeral Home of Timpson announces service for 85-year old Mrs. Ailene Lilly of Timpson.  She passed away Tuesday in Garrison. Service will be at 2 Saturday at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 Friday at Taylor Funeral Home.

 

Garner & Sons Mortuary of San Augustine announces service for 74-year old Ms. Willow Dean Teal of San Augustine. She passed away March 22 at Nacogdoches Medical Center. Service will be at 1 Saturday at True Vine Baptist Church, with interment in Greer Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 9 Friday at Garner & Sons Chapel. Among Willow Dean Teal’s survivors is a son, Darren G. Teal of Universal City; and a sister, Annie Faye Berry of Center.
