Tenaha Truck Driver Remains in Critical Condition after Accident

To bring you up-to-date on a story we had Monday. A Tenaha truck driver remains in critical condition with severe head injuries at University Health Hospital in Shreveport following a wreck last Saturday night in DeSoto Parish. 56-year old Arnold Fitzgerald was driving a salt water disposal rig when a man, identified as Shreveport attorney Joseph Hendrix pulled out of a private drive in front of him on Hwy. 84, causing Fitzgerald to take evasive measures, forcing the rig to overturn. A commercial posted on YouTube advertising Joey W. Hendrix Attorney at Law says he specializes in DWI defense. He was booked in the DeSoto Parish Jail on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, vehicular negligent driving and failure to yield from a private drive.

Also, following up on a story we had last Friday. Center Post Office Rural Carrier, Kim Skinner of Timpson, injured last Thursday when a dead tree fell on her Jeep, crushing the vehicle, is now home from the hospital. That incident occurred on County Road 1011. Ms. Skinner had her lung punctured, and had broken ribs in the freak accident.
