At their called meeting Wednesday afternoon, the Center ISD Board of Trustees approved both agenda items 6-0, including an OK on the instructional materials allotment and Texas Education Knowledge & Skills certification for next school year; and authorizing administration to apply for a waiver to the state that will offset the loss of funding due to low attendance on March 3, due to bad weather.

In addition, the school board approved the hiring of Shelby Skeen as Digital Learning Coordinator; Zebbra Riggans as a Life Skills Aide; and Joyce Permenter as administrative assistant.

The CISD Board of Trustees have another called meeting at noon today, and among the agenda items will be discussion and consideration of proposals for lease of facilities and real property and possible personnel issues.
