San Augustine: Ayish Hall to Open Friday

Toe tappin’, foot stompin’ Western Swing and traditional country music is coming to San Augustine with the opening of Ayish Hall this Friday evening. Located in the old cotton gin near the overpass and old caboose behind the log cabin, the venue will feature live music and an open dance floor. Grand opening is at 7 Friday night, and among the artiest will be The Sugar Moons, The Texas Tumbleweed, Cowboy poet and story teller Derek Duncan, and special guest artists Steve Carpenter and Hillary Melton-Fiscus. According to owner Shane Matthews, its live music like you haven't seen or heard in a long time. Admission is $5
