Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces funeral service for 75-year old Donald Ray Stephenson of Timpson. Service will be at 10 this morning at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at 2:30 at Zion Hill Cemetery in Lovelady. Among Donald Ray Stephenson’s survivors are his wife, Mary Stephenson of Timpson; children, Rusty Stephenson of Dayton, Nikki Johnson of Dayton, Debra Vick of Silsbee, Thomas King of Timpson, Angelia Palmer of Silsbee, Tammy Mikesh of Timpson, and Billy Dickerson of Nacogdoches; a brother, Henry Melvin Stephens, Jr. of Baytown, and sister, Betty Garcia of Pearland.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces service for 7-and-a-half month old Annabella Raiyne Byrd of Center. Service will be at 2 this afternoon at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Good Hope Cemetery. Among Annabella Raiyne Byrd’s survivors are her parents, Korey & Keisha Byrd of Center; big brother, Peyton Byrd of Center; big sister, Valerie Byrd of Center; grandparents, Patricia Byrd & Bill Barcheers of Center, Carl Emerson of Logansport, Glen Byrd of Joaquin and Dorothy & Bill Gattis of Joaquin; and great grandmother, Barbara “Big Nanny” Bryan of Broaddus.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces service for 73-year old Willie “Bill” Denby of the Dunnigan Community near Shelbyville. He passed away Monday at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. Service will be at 11 Thursday at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel, with graveside service to follow at Patroon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 today at Mangum Funeral Home. Bill Denby was retired from Deep East Texas Electric Co-op after 50-years of service. Among his survivors are his wife, Betty Windham Denby of Dunnigan; children, Tony Denby of Dunnigan, Earlene Mitchell of Gooberhill, and Timmy Denby of Lout Town; sisters, Ruby Risinger of Gooberhill and Delsia Powell of Gooberhill.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces service for 42-year old Cynthia Gail (Adams) Hutto of Center. She passed away Monday at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Service will be at 3 Thursday at Mangum Funeral Home, with burial at New Hope Cemetery in Center. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 this evening at the funeral home. Among Cynthia Gail (Adams) Hutton's survivors is her husband, Rayford Hutto of Center; mother, Shirley Adams of Center; children, Bobby Hutto, David Hutto and Chris Hutto, all of Center; brothers and sisters, Montie Jo Adams of Center, Bobby Adams of Center, James Lee Adams of Nacogdoches, Sylvia Ann Adams of Center, Annette Gill of San Augustine and Jerry Moore.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces pending service for 93-year old Audrey Williams of Nederland, formerly of Joaquin. She passed away Tuesday at her home in Nederland. Among Audrey Williams’ survivors are 2 sons, Jerry Williams of Nederland and Forrest Williams of Salem, Ark.

 

Taylor Funeral Home of Timpson announces service for 74-year old Mrs. Olga Mims Hughes of Timpson. Service will be at 2 this afternoon at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Corinth Cemetery in Timpson.  Among Olga Mims Hughes’ survivors are her husband, Gerald Hughes of Timpson; son David Hailey of Timpson; daughter, Debbie Golden of Center; daughter-in-law, Jill Hailey of Timpson; step-daughters, Ellen Kennon and Patricia Merliss, both of Dallas; and sisters, Lorene McEntire and Marian Gentry, both of Timpson.

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home announces service for 71-year old Dewey H. Rash of San Augustine. Service will be at 11 Friday morning at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, cremation to occur afterwards with interment in the Sardis Cemetery in Shelby County. Among Dewey H. Rash’s survivors, are his son, Dewey Hermon Rash, Jr. of San Augustine; daughter, Gayla Miller of Shelbyville; brothers, Thomas Rash of Arizona, Billy Rash of Lufkin, and Paul Rash of Lufkin; sisters, Betty Ramono of Oklahoma, Jeanette Buck of Houston and Pam Rash of Houston.

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home announces service for 87-year old Joyce Lavern Hadley of San Antonio, formerly of San Augustine. Service will be at 11 Thursday at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, with burial at Antioch Cemetery in San Augustine County. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 this evening at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home. At the request of the family, memorials and donations can be made to the San Augustine Public Library, or to the Antioch Cemetery, San Augustine.

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home announces service for longtime civic leader, 78-year old Bill “Billy” Simmons of San Augustine. He passed away Monday in Houston. Service will be at 11 Saturday at First United Methodist Church in San Augustine, with burial at Myrtle Spring Cemetery in Sabine County. Visitation will be 5 to 8 Friday evening at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home. His survivors include daughters, Renae Simmons of Houston; Rhonda Simmons of College Station; Brenda Steptoe of San Augustine and Lisa Sandidge of Lufkin.


Community Funeral Home of Center announces service for 63-year old Charles "Hundy Bear" Earl Hester of Center. Service will be at 1 today at Triumph Church in Center, with interment at Westview Cemetery. Among his suvivors are 3 brothers, C.W. Gillaspie, Bennie Ray Gillaspie and Tommy Lee Lathan, all of Center; 3 sisters, Lillie Helen Thedford, Saint Ella Faye Gardner, and Della Mae Johnson, all of Center; a son, Michael Williams of Center; and a daughter, Latoya Jackson of Lufkin.

Service will be at 1 Saturday at Benford Chapel Baptist Church in Tenaha with interment at St. John Cemetery in Tenaha. Ja'merion La'Vincent Roe Gray is survived by his mother, Cassandra Horton of Tenaha, fathe, Rodney Gray of Tenaha; 2 sisters, Melisa McCollister of Center, and Latishana Gray of Tenaha; and 2 brothers, Rodney Gray of Tenaha and Devante' Gray of Center.
