Will there be another chapter to the Shelby County Judge’s election saga? On our local newscast yesterday morning in the 8 o’clock hour on KDET, it was noted Shelby County Judge Rick Campbell had commented to KTRE-TV following Monday night’s ballot recount, he saw some things he would need to look at (during the recount process) that looked out of the ordinary to him, and he would make up his mind what he was going to do in a couple of days. I reached out to Campbell Tuesday to see if he’d like to make a comment concerning that statement, and he responded, “no comment,” and added he had quote, “lost by three votes and it was over”. Allison Harbison came away with 1,633 votes to 1,630 for Campbell after the recount.
