Wyman Roberts Funeral Home announces graveside service for 48-year old Brenda Lee Martin James of Huntington. Graveside service will be at 11 this morning in the Attoyac Cemetery in San Augustine County.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces funeral service for 80-year old Earl Lee McSwain of Center. Service will be at 2 this afternoon at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Old Salem Cemetery in Shelby County. Among Earl Lee McSwain’s survivors are four siblings, Janie Johnson of Cleveland, Maxine Jernigan and Christene Mahan of Center, and Bob McSwain of Irving. Earl McSwain and his wife operated Earl's Nursery for many years.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces a graveside service for 91-year old Robbie Hartt of the Arcadia Community. She passed away Sunday in Mount Pleasant. Graveside service will be held at 1 Thursday at Powdrill Cemetery in Shelby County. Visitation will be held prior to the graveside service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Robbie Hartt is survived by a daughter, Brenda Middleton of Fort Worth; sons, Donald Williams of Mount Pleasant and Ronald Wayne Williams of Harleton; step-sons, Lynn Hartt of Center, Robert Hartt of Garrison and Glenn Hartt of Appleby; step-daughter, Tammy Dutton of Sherman; sisters, Martha Crippen and Jane Cooper; and sister-in-law, Odessa Powdrill.

 

Hawthorn Funeral Home in Carthage announces funeral service for 77-year old Mr. Jimmie Luther “Wimpy” McGuire of DeBerry. He died Tuesday in Tyler. Jimmie Luther “Wimpy” McGuire was raised in the Paxton Community of Shelby County, graduating from Tenaha High School in 1955. Service will be at 1 Friday at Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in Panola County. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 Thursday at Hawthorn Funeral Home. Among Jimmie Luther “Wimpy” McGuire’s survivors are his wife, Shirley McGuire of DeBerry; children, Dwain McGuire of Carthage, David McGuire of Carthage, Diann Wilhite of Fruitvale, Denise Gray of Carthage, and Dollie Aaaron of DeBerry; brothers, Oliver Roger McGuire of Hawaii, Albert Thomas “Pat” McGuire of Grandbury, and Calvin McGuire of Elysian Fields.

 

Taylor Funeral Home of Timpson announces a memorial graveside service for 83-year old Ben Gene Cooper of Coronado, Ca. Service will be at 3:30 Saturday at the Dixon Cemetery in the Weaver Community near Timpson. Ben Gene Cooper was a 1946 graduate of Timpson High School.

 

Hicks Mortuary of Center announces service for 39-year old Mr. Tony O. Ware of Center. He passed away Saturday. Service will be at 1 Saturday at the East Liberty Baptist Church, with interment in the Thompson Cemetery in Shelbyville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 Friday at Hicks Mortuary. Among Tony O. Ware's survivors are, his mother, Ella Faye Ware of Center; 2 sons, Xavier Ware and Ja'Brayln Ware both of Center; 2 daughters, I'Ceyonna Ware of Center and Nakia Roland of Timpson; a sister, Teresa Arline of Center and a brother, Reginal Ware of Houston.
