The average price for a gallon of regular gas statewide is running about $3.25 a gallon, up four cents in the past week, according to gasbuddy.com. In Louisiana, a gallon’s also averaging $3.22. Nationally, the average is $3.48, up another three cents for the week, but down some 19-cents from this week a year ago. Here at home, checking prices this morning, lowest we found was at EZ Mart on U.S. Hwy. 96 north, Tenaha Hwy., where it’s $3.19 a gallon.
