Missing man found safe in Longview

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office has issued a missing person alert for a Tenaha man. According to a press release, James Evans, a white male, reported to be 6-1, 190 pounds, with short dark hair and a possible mustache, was reported missing from his home at 249 Sugar Hill Road just before 6 o’clock Wednesday morning. The father of the individual, Jackie Eaves, informed authorities, he awoke to find his son missing. The father advised his son has the mental capability of an 11-year old, and suffers from mental illness. He reportedly left the home with two gray pull behind suitcases, along with a X-Box system.
