Shelby County Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8904 and the Ladies Auxiliary will have an observance to honor all who participated in Operation Desert Storm at 11 this morning. A wreath laying will take place at the Veterans Memorial on the grounds of the Historic Courthouse and Taps will be played for those 148 Americans who lost their lives in the war that ended on February 28, 1991.  A Dutch treat lunch will follow at Las Margaritas and any Desert Storm Veteran attending will receive a complimentary lunch.
