Plenty of boys' and girls' high school playoff basketball action tonight:

 

The Center Roughriders are playing Fairfield at 8 tonight in Rusk in a Class 3A, bi-district game. The winner gets the Navasota/Lorena winner in area this week.

 

The Shelbyville Dragons meet New Summerfield at 8 tonight in Tatum, while the Martinsville Pirates play Mt Enterprise at 6:30 in Tenaha.

 

San Augustine gets the winner of Martinsville/Mt. Enterprise in the area round later this week.

The Tenaha Tigers get the winner of the West Sabine/Colmesneil bi-district game in area this week.

 

The Shelbyville Lady Dragons and the Tenaha Lady Tigers meet tonight in a Class 1A, Div. I region quarterfinal game at 6:30 at Panola College in Carthage. The winner moves on to the region tournament in Tyler.

 

The Garrison Lady Bulldogs meet the Central Heights Lady Blue Devils at 8 tonight in Tenaha in a Class 2A, region quartfinal game.

 

Last night in a Class 2A bi-district game in Lufkin, the Central Heights Blue Devils beat Warren, 47-33, to advance to the area round.

 

The Center Lady Roughrider softball team gets a 5-1 win over Nacogdoches Monday. The Lady Riders will be in the Nacogdoches/Central Heights Tournament starting Thursday.

 

Girls’ softball scheduled today:  Timpson at West Sabine, Joaquin at Overton, Shelbyville at Zavalla, and Garrison at Huntington.

 

Baseball: Joaquin Rams at Shelbyville to play the Dragons.

 

Soccer today: the Riders and Lady Riders will be in Palestine for district games. The Tenaha Lady Tigers are in Marshall.
