Early Voting Starts Tuesday for Primary Elections

You’re reminded early voting begins Tuesday, and continues through Feb. 28. You must have a photo ID in order to vote. If you don’t have a Drivers’ License or other form of photo ID, the Texas Dept. of Public Safety is issuing free Election Identification Certificates. In San Augustine County, Election Administrator Deborah Woods is also providing the free IDs, from 8-3, Mon-Friday through March 4.

 

Here are the hours for early voting, starting next Tuesday in Shelby County. Early Voting is at the county clerk’s office on the south-side of the Center Square, from 8 to 4:30, Mon thru Friday, and weekend voting from 10 to 2, Sat. Feb. 22, and 12-4 on Sun Feb. 23.

 

In San Augustine County, early voting’s at election administrator Deborah Woods’ office from 8 to 4 Mon-Friday, and 10-3 Sat. Feb. 22. At the Broaddus Community Center from 9-4 Mon-Fri, and from 10-3 Sat, Feb. 22.
