Funeral Notices 2/14/14

 

Watson & Sons announces funeral service for 94-year old Annie Irene Mayfield of Center. Funeral service will be at 11 this morning at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment to follow at Strong Cemetery. Among Annie Irene Mayfield’s survivors are a son, Larry Mayfield of Orange; daughters, Mavis McCauley of Orange and Shirley McRae of Center; sisters, Lottie Hammitt of Orange and Louise Pickering of Vidor;  brothers, G.W. Strong of Center and Rev. Elzine Strong of Lufkin; sister-in-law, Margie Strong of Center; and brother-in-law, Steve Wooten of Orange.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces a graveside service for 64-year old Donald E. (Red) Wilson of Center. Visitation will be from 11 to 1:30 Saturday at Watson & Sons Chapel. A military honors graveside will follow at 2 at Antioch Cemetery in Shelby County under the direction of VFW Post 8904 and Bro. Buddy Gray. Among Donald E. (Red) Wilson’s survivors are his wife, Janet of Center; a son, Andrew Wilson of Marshall, and siblings, Charles, Wesley, Michael, Earline and Mary; sister-in-law, Jenny Ray Fancher of Center; and brother-in-law, Jerry Glenn Lawson of Center.


Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home in Henderson announces funeral service for 62-year old John Michael Mellon of Henderson. He passed away Sunday. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Moffett Cemetery in Rusk County at a later date. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Among John Michael Mellon’s survivors include his wife, Edwina; four children, Joseph Craig Jr., Michael Craig, Matthew Mellon, and a daughter, Amber Mellon of Center.

 

Community Funeral Home of Center announces funeral service for 61-year old Alice J. Swindle of Shelbyville and San Augustine. Service will be at noon Saturday at Community Funeral Home Chapel in Center, with interment to follow in Bennett Chapel Cemetery in Shelbyville. Alice J. Swindle is survived by a son, Kerry Lee King of Lufkin, sister, Katie Gardner of Shelbyville and brother, David Rayson of Center.
