No weather-related road issues being reported this morning by TxDOT, nor Shelby or San Augustine County officials.
The rain stopped last night, we had some wind that helped dry the roadways, and temperatures stayed at or above freezing. However, we do remain under a Winter Weather Advisory through 6 tomorrow morning, as another round of precipitataion is headed our way today.
The National Weather Service is saying this next wave of moisture will likely have more to it. We have a 60 percent chance of freezing rain and sleet before 9am, then a chance of rain and sleet between 9am and noon, then rain likely after noon, with a high near 35. Tonight, Rain, freezing rain, and sleet likely before midnight, then a chance of freezing rain, with a low around 28. Little or no ice accumulation is expected.
