Shelby County Commissioners will be meeting at 9:30 this morning, and among the agenda items to be discussed and possibly taking action is hearing a request from Tax Accessor/Collector Debora Riley for hiring a temporary employee for the voter registration office, using Chapter 19 funds; a request from District Clerk Lori Oliver to purchase a new laptop computer from the District Court Technology Fund/Court Records Preservation Fund for the purpose of jury selection and district court proceedings; and a request from County Clerk Allison Harbison for renewal of the election services agreement contract.
n addition, the court will commend Sheriff Willis Blackwell and the Sheriff’s Dept. on the certificate of compliance with the Texas Commission on Jail Standards; and acknowledge Constable Pct. 2 Jamie Hagler on successfully completing the 40-hour course for newly elected constables.
