A Tenaha native has been named the new board chair of East Texas Baptist University in Marshall. Panola County Judge David Anderson, who grew up in Tenaha, begins his fifth year as an ETBU trustee. Anderson follows in his late father, Marshall Anderson’s footsteps becoming a trustee and eventual board chair at the university in the 1960 and 70s. Judge Anderson was involved in the family business for a number of years in Tenaha, Anderson Manufacturing.
