Funeral notices 1/31/14

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces a graveside service for 85-year old Preston Hickman of Galloway. Service will be at 10 this morning at Old Home Cemetery in Joaquin. Preston Hickman is survived by a daughter, Yvette Good of Haslet; a son, John Hickman of The Woodlands; and brothers, Charles Hickman of Zavalla and E.W. Hickman of Magnolia, Ark.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of service for 60-year old Sherri Diane Hitt Stamper of Houston. Service will be at 1 today at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held two hours prior to service. Among Sherri Diane Hitt Stamper’s survivors is a brother, Stephen Hitt of Pearland; and four aunts, Ann Hitt of Center, Norma Lout of Center, Doris Magness of Magnolia and Jeanene Hart of Gilmer.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces the passing of 89-year old Leouis “Lil Momma” Byrd of Corsicana. Funeral service will be this morning in Corsicana, with burial at 3 p.m. this afternoon at Sardis Cemetery.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces a graveside service for Infant Kynleigh Michelle Fontenot. She passed away Tuesday in Ft. Worth. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 12:30 at Strong Cemetery in Huxley. Among Infant Kynleigh Michelle Fontenot’s survivors are her parents, Ray and Kara Fontenot of Huxley; and a brother, Harvy Fontenot of Huxley.

 

Carroway Funeral Home of Lufkin announces funeral service for 74-year old Jerry D. Pinner of Allentown in Angelina County. He passed away Thursday at his residence. He was ordained in the United Pentecostal Church, and worked as a long-time dental tech. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at Carroway Funeral Home in Lufkin. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow in the Antioch Cemetery in Ratcliff, in Houston County. Among Jerry D. Pinner’s survivors are his wife, Joy Pinner of Allentown; a son, Ray Lynn Pinner of Lufkin; a daughter Jerry Gail Pinner of Lufkin; a brother, the Reverend Ray Pinner of Lufkin; and a sister, Sue Landers of Pollock.

 

Community Funeral Home of Timpson announces service for Infant Bosstan Xavion Bryant. Service will be at 2 Saturday at Smyrna Baptist Church on Church Street in Timpson, with interment at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Infant Bosstan Xavion Bryant is survived by his mother, Tiwanka Pitts of Timpson; his father, Jeffrey Bryant of Garrison; brother, Julius Bryant of Carthage, and grandparents, Syvil Bryant, Nicole Hill, James Warren and Lesses Colpelen, Jr.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces a graveside service for 56-year old Rodney Windham of Center. Service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Pine Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at Mangum Funeral Home. Among Rodney Windham’s survivors is his mother, Lillian Wallace of Center; a son, Dusty Windham of Austin; 3 sisters, Daphne Fisher of Shreveport, Pamela Walker of the Galloway Community, and Jennifer Windham of Grand Cane, La.; step-mother, Gloria Windham of Grand Cane.
