Shelby County Outreach Ministries is planning an event for Friday, Feb. 14 to assist funding of their various programs. What’s being called the first, “Share the Love” event will be held from 11 to 4 at the Center Wal-Mart on Valentine’s Day, says executive director Pam White. 

This will be an opportunity for you to assist the outreach ministries with donations of non-perishable food items and monetary donations to help out Meals on Wheels, the Shelby and San Augustine Counties Nutrition Sites, the Unique Boutique, and Helping Hands Outreach. Ms. White said we want those that help us out to know what their donations go to.

Program coordinators will be on hand Feb. 14 to meet and answer questions about their ministry. You’re invited to help out Shelby County Outreach Ministries during “Share the Love”, Valentine’s Day at the Center Wal-Mart.
