Mangum Funeral Home announces graveside service for 48-year old Rhonda Schumtz Davis of Canyon Lake, formerly of Center. She passed away last Sunday at her home. Rhonda Schumtz Davis was a 1983 graduate of Center High School. Graveside service will be at 3 this afternoon at Strong Cemetery in Huxley. Rhonda Schumtz Davis is survived by a son, Cassidy of Tyler; a daughter, Amber of Nesbraska; parents, Don & Judy Schumtz of Huxley; and three brothers, Randy Schumtz of Stephenville, Ricky Schumtz of Huxley and Rodney Schumtz of Joaquin.

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home of San Augustine announces funeral service for 75-year old James Dixon Norton, of San Augustine. He passed away Monday at his residence. Service will be at 2 p.m. today at Attoyac Missionary Baptist Church in San Augustine County, with burial in Attoyac Cemetery.
 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 80-year old Iris M. Allen of Center. She passed away Monday at Pine Grove Nursing Center. Service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Shelbyville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 this evening at Watson & Sons. Iris Allen’s survivors include, two sons, Terry Allen of Joaquin and Michael Allen of Center; a brother, Alton McLean of Center; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Carter of Shelbyville and Marilyn Allen of Natalia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice in Lufkin, or the American Cancer Society, Oklahoma City, OK.

Funeral service for 80-year old Herbert H. Coleman of Sinton, Texas will be at 9 a.m. this morning at Resthaven Funeral Home in Sinton. Among Herbert H. Colemans surviors are a step-son, Billy Bob McAdams of Center.
