Watson & Sons Funeral Home was in charge of service Saturday for 75-year old Lucille Harvey of Logansport. Service was at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Strong Cemetery in Huxley. Lucille Harvey is survived by, her husband, Johnny of Logansport; two sons, Anthony Harvey of Carthage and Mike Harvey of Huxley; a sister, Jo Settle of Stonewall, La.; and a brother, Jerry Burkett of Henderson. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Logansport, in memory of Lucille Harvey.

 

Mangum Funeral Home was in charge of service for 60-year old Richard Alan Boehm (BAME) of Center. He passed away last Friday. Service was at 3 Sunday at Mangum Chapel, with burial at Oaklawn Memorial Park. Richard Alan Boehm is survived by brothers and sisters, Barbara Neal, June Borders, Ralph Boehm, Jr, Leonard Boehm, and Joan Hayes, all of Center; Dennis Boehm, of North Carolina, Karen Boehm of Huntsville, and Andrew Boehm of Deer Park.

 

Garrison Funeral Home was in charge of service Sunday for 71-year old Jimmy Don Rucker of Garrison. He passed away Thursday at a Nacogdoches Hospital. Service was at Garrison Funeral Home with burial at Hancock Cemetery, Shelby County. He worked for the K.L. Barton & Sons Tie Company. Jimmy Don Rucker is survived by two sons, Tracy Rucker of Nacogdoches, and Cory Rucker of Garrison; and a daughter, Terri Rucker Miller of Kingsbury, Texas.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of funeral service for 76-year old, the Pastor Marlin Freeman of Center. He passed away Friday at his home. Marlin Freeman moved to Shelby County in 1975. He was pastor at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church for several years. In 1983, he founded Heritage Missionary Baptist Church in Center, where he served as Pastor until his death. He also had a long running daily devotional on KDET. Service will be at 11 this morning at Watson & Sons Chapel, with burial at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.  Marlin Freeman is survived by, his wife, Margaret Gould Freeman of Center, three daughters, Kathy Freeman Bearid of Houston , Cindy Freeman Lindsey of Center, and Karen Freeman Campbell of Center; and a sister, Wanda Sumpter of Richardson.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces graveside service for 52-year old William Lloyd Adkison of Lufkin. He passed away Sunday in a Lufkin hospital. Graveside service at 11 this morning at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Timpson. He worked as a heavy equipment operator in the logging woods. William Lloyd Adkison’s survivors include, his wife, Regina Adkison of Lufkin; step-children, Jennifer Allen and Jacob McDuffie, all of Lufkin; father, L.D. Adkison of Diboll; and step-sisters, Susie Hicks of Kennard  and Katie Smith of Corrigan.

 

Garner & Sons Mortuary of San Augustine announces funeral service for 93-year old Eddie Wilson of San Augustine. Service will be at 11 this morning at China Chapel Baptist Church, with burial at Redland Cemetery. Eddie Wilson is survived by his wife, Dorothy B. Wilson of San Augustine; 2 sons, Edward and Herman Wilson of San Augustine; and 5 daughters, Ethelene Hughes, Eddie Lee Whitfield, Annie Faye Wesley, Wilma Brooks and Beverly Randal, all of San Augustine.
