It appears a water main break that occurred Tuesday in the City of Center has forced the temporary shutdown of the processing facility at Tyson Foods. Attempts to reach Tyson administration and City of Center public works officials to find out more about the processing shutdown and when the break issue may be resolved, has been unsuccessful this morning.

If you’re a Tyson Foods, Center Processing Plant employee, listen up, there’s been a change in the work schedule for today, Wednesday, for some workers. Tyson advises the day shift 28 degree room, labeling, and shipping, will work today, Wednesday. All other day shift departments will not work today. In addition, night shift will not work today, Wednesday. All shifts maintenance will work today at Tyson Foods, Center Processing Plant.
