Twelve years ago America launched its counterattack against terrorism, hammering terrorist targets in Afghanistan and ushering in Operation Enduring Freedom and the global war on terror.

To remember the service and sacrifice of Afghanistan Veterans a remembrance program will be held at the Veterans Memorial on the Center Square, Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 11:00 am.  As always the public is cordially invited.  Afghanistan veterans and their families are invited to lunch afterwards at Las Margaritas.
