Panola College Workforce and Continuing Education would like to thank the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce and the Center Economic Development Corporation for their support of the partnership between General Shelters of Texas, LTD and Texas Workforce Commission with the Skills Development Fund. The Skills Development Fund will provide training opportunities to the General Shelters of Texas, LTD employees to cross train and further their job set skills.
The Skills Development Fund had a great start on July 18, 2013 with the first class of Command Spanish for Industry, Manufacturing, and Warehousing . Panola College is excited to be working with General Shelters of Texas, LTD with future training that includes: Basic Electrical Technology, Basic Carpentry, Plumbing, Welding Technology, Basic Accounting, Quickbooks, Microsoft, Excel, and Word.
