The recent closure of the Shelby Regional Medical Center has resulted in other health-oriented businesses and organizations providing additional services to meet the medical needs of Shelby County residents.

Hope Clinic officials have confirmed that the clinic will soon extend it's hours.  The facility will be open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 10 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM.  Officials say that change will take place as soon as it is humanly possible and that other services will also soon be expanded to offset the impact of the shutdown of Shelby County's only hospital.
