46th  EAST TEXAS POULTRY FESTIVAL 

SEEKS ARTS & CRAFTS VENDORS 

 

Planning is underway for the 46th East Texas Poultry Festival, presented by Farmers State Bank.  The Poultry Festival will be held October 6-8th on the historic downtown Center square. Arts and Crafts vendor applications are being accepted at the Shelby County Chamber office until Friday, September 16th.  To receive an application and a copy of the guidelines call the Chamber office or go online at www.shelbycountychamber.com. Gold Sponsors for the Festival are Badders Law Firm, City of Center, Pilgrims Pride and Tyson Foods 

This year we will not be providing tents to our Arts and Crafts vendors.  Vendors will need to bring their own 10x10 tent. Guidelines regarding the type of tents allowed are included in the application and guidelines.  Vendors will receive an electrical outlet

The registration fee is $75.00 for previous East Texas Poultry Festival attendees. There is an early bird special of $75.00 for booth space which must be paid for in full by July 29, 2022.  After July 29th, the registration fee will be $100.00. Booths must be manned continuously during the hours of 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. all three days of the festival.  First time exhibitors are asked to send three color photographs showing merchandise that will be in the booth.  The Arts & Crafts committee will select the vendors based on the type and quality of merchandise and notify them of their selection shortly after receipt of the application.

 Poultry Festival Car Show
 

Help us kick off the 5th Annual Poultry Festival Car and Motorcycle Show sponsored by Zack’s Tint Shop.  The Show will be held on Saturday, October 8th as a part of the Poultry Festival Saturday activities.  It will be held from 10:00am until 2:00pm on the downtown square.

 

Enter your car and/or motorcycle, or just stop by and view the vehicles.

 

 This year, it will be a Show and Shine car show.  Just show up and enjoy the day!!There will be a People’s Choice Award.

 

The Cutting of the Feathers for the 46th Annual East Texas Poultry Festival, presented by Farmers State Bank will be Thursday, October 6th at 10am.  Gold Sponsors are: Badders Law Firm; City of Center; Pilgrims Pride and Tyson Foods.  See you on the square.

46th East Texas Poultry Festival 

Creative Arts Show Committee is looking for participants

 

1. The 46th Annual East Texas Poultry Festival, presented by Farmers State Bank, is right around the corner – October 6, 7 and 8.   Don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your creative side in art, quilting, canning, crafts, woodworking, metal art, photography, and new this year – Baking.

 All creative art divisions and are open to Youth (6th through 12th grades) and Adults (17 and older).  The art division will also be open to Elementary (K – through 5th).

 

This year’s Quilt Show, sponsored by Scull Timber will be held in the Historic Courthouse. The Creative Arts Show, Sponsored by Ray Jones Chevrolet and the Photography Show, sponsored by the Light and Champion will both be held in the Family Life Center at First Baptist Church. 

 

Start taking photos, quilting quilts, canning your spring and summer harvest and creating art for these events.  We want to showcase and recognize ALL our local talent.
