| Regional Champions!!
Congratulations Shelbyville High School Lady Dragon Track! Kiana Bennett was the first on the medal stand finishing 3rd in long jump on Day 1 of the meet. Day 2 Kiana was back up on the medal stand qualifying for the State Track Meet in the triple jump. Emily Pharris won the gold in the 800 and also the mile events, earning her trip to Austin in the State Track Meet. Kiana also placed 2nd in the 200 meter run and qualified in that event as well. The 4x200 meter relay team; Kylie Snell, Liela Klein, Carsey Lovell and Kiana Bennet won the gold and will be competing at the State Track Meet. Going into the last event our girls were down by five points. The 4x400 meter relay team; Liela Klein, Antyiah Giles, Kiana Bennett and Emily Pharris won the event and with that win put Shelbyville in 1st place. The Shelbyville Lady Dragons are your 2A Region 3 Track and Field Champions. The girls team that competed at Regionals was; Kylie Snell, Alaina Haley, Antyiah Giles, Carsey Lovell, Nakya Swindle, Baylee Whiteside, McKenzie Gillaspie, Jamarria Wright, Emily Pharris, Jessica Perez, Kiana Bennett, Liela Klein, and Manager Makayja Horton.
