UIL Speech and Debate Team

The CX team of Nathali Abella Hernandez and Kaylee Cox will attend the state contest in Austin, Texas, on Thursday and Friday after placing second at district in February, with Nathali being named Top Speaker

 

Powerlifting

Andrea Horton will compete in powerlifting at the state meet this weekend. At regionals, Andrea lifted a total of 1,010 pounds. She benched 205 pounds, squatted 405 pounds, and set the regional record in deadlift with 400 pounds, 20 pounds shy of the state 4A record!
