UPDATE: One fatality is reported in the accident this morning in Shelbyville and one serious injury. We will update when next of kin have been  notified.

Center Broadcasting has received reports of a major accident on Highway 87 South, just past Shelbyville School.  The reports indicate a log truck and a Jeep were involved.  According to the information, there were apparently injuries in the incident.

No information was forthcoming from the Sheriff's office, but avoid the area as it is blocked off while rescuers and investigators work the scene.
