The Garrison Independent School District has announced it will close all schools until the day after Labor Day due to an outbreak of covid 19 cases among staff and students.
The order includes a suspension of all extracurricular school activities for the same period.
The buildings will be deep cleaned during the closure, and will open again on September 7th. Practice sessions for sports and other activities can resume on September 6th.
