Dear Residents of Shelby County:

 

Shelby County needs your assistance.  We have partnered with Connected Nation and the Temple Foundation to gather important information about the need for Broadband services in Shelby County.  Responding to this survey will help the entire population of Shelby County. 

 

I encourage you and your family members to take this online survey.  There are 9 different surveys that you can complete, please complete each survey that applies to you.  For example, I did the home, government, business, and agriculture surveys. 

 

It is very important that we have as many surveys completed as possible.  The Federal and State Governments are expected to pledge a large amount of funds to rural America and rural Texas for broadband services in the coming years and Shelby County does not want to be left out. 

 

For your convenience, attached is 2 links, one in English and one is Spanish.  If you do not want to use the online survey, you may print it, fill it out, and bring it by the Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street in Center.  Also, I have attached a fact sheet that further explains what we are trying to accomplish.
