Center Police and other local agencies are currently investigating the death of a 5 month old baby girl. According to sources, at around 9:40 a.m yesterday, Center police were called to a residence in the 1200 block of Shelbyville street. 5 month old Keilly Hoyt who had suffered multiple injuries, was transported by ACE EMS to Shelby Regional Medical Center, where she later passed away. While the case is still under investigation, The child's mother, SkaKeitha Cartwright, 29 of Center was arrested last night and charged with murder.
