Update on the shooting of a Panola County Deputy that happened early this morning December 31, 2019, at around 2 a.m.

 

According to the Panola County Sheriff's office, the suspect involved in the fatal shooting of one of their deputies has been arrested and taken into custody in Lousiana. He was identified by the Panola County Sheriff's Office as Gregory Newson.
