We have received news that Mrs. Clara Garrett has passed away today December 3, 2019, at the age of 94 years old. Her services are pending at this time with the Community Funeral Home of Center, Texas. 

 

Mrs. Clara Garrett was a beloved member of the community and would call into our station on KDET 930 AM to share the gospel. Her voice and reading of the scripture will be missed, we here at Center Radio Station are never going to be able to replace the work that she did, truly she was a kind soul that loved to help others and she will be greatly missed by our community. 

 

A hole is sure to be in the hearts of the people of Shelby County and the surrounding areas. Mrs. Clara Garrett, may you rest in peace.
