The Perry Sampson Park is a 4-acre neighborhood park that was established in the 1980s and named after the beloved school Principal of the now-closed CH Daniels School. The Perry Sampson Park is located in Southeast Center has been in need of some improvements or renovations for a while now and some residents of the area are banding together to make those changes a reality.
A committee of concerned citizens have established a committee, the Perry Sampson Renovation Committee and have begun a campaign to renovate the Perry Sampson Park. The park itself is located on the Southeast side of Center, Texas at 806 Garrett St, Center, TX. They are seeking the public's assistance in reaching their goal to see the park turned into a safe and fun area for the local children to play in.

The renovation project would improve the park and benefit the lives of the children in the surrounding area, giving them a better place to play within walking distance of where they live.
