Center Police are investigating business theft

Center Police are investigating the theft of cash at a Tenaha Street business that occurred Thursday afternoon. According to the clerk at City Blends Smoothie Café and Tantalizing Tanning Salon, a male and female entered the business during the noon hour, and while one distracted the employee, the other opened a cash register and made away with an undetermined amount of cash. No weapon was reportedly used during the incident. Scanner traffic said the two suspects left and drove away in a 2005 model Chevy pickup, blue in color, with tan on the bottom portion, and contained a red four wheeler in the back. The duo was seen driving north onto Tenaha Street. Both individuals were white and looked to be in their 20s, according to the business owner. The male was described as having brown hair, and the female blonde hair.
