High school basketball action today: The Center Roughriders are among 16 teams taking part in the Woodville Eagles Holiday Classic. The Riders will open play at 11:00 a.m this morning against Evadale at the Woodville Middle School Gym.

One of the premiere basketball tournaments in the state tips off today, as the fourth annual Tenaha Holiday Hoops Tournament runs thru Saturday, with some 60 games on tap in Tenaha, Joaquin, Gary and Panola College.

The boys’ portion of the tournament begins at 9:00 a.m this morning. Today’s girls’ schedule starts at 9 at the Tenaha Special Events Center.
