Garrison Thefts

 

 

An ongoing investigation by the Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office has led to two felony arrest involving burglary cases. Investigators have been working multiple Burglary and Theft cases since September 16, 2019 that all occurred in the Garrison area. All these cases have been linked to two suspects, Mark Dziedzic & Corey Jimerson for the following cases.

Burglary of Habitation & UUMV (2005 Camo Yamaha UTV - Recovered) 6 firearms stolen (3 have been recovered)

Theft- felony 3rd degree Multiple tools and equipment ($10,000 Welder/Generator Recovered)
UUMV- 1993 Dodge Dually Diesel stolen from Bulldog Tire in Garrison. (Recovered)

During this ongoing investigation, Investigators interviewed multiple witnesses including the suspects, executed search warrants and searched multiple pieces of property and was able to recover a majority of the stolen property. During this investigation and recovery of evidence, investigators were able to link both suspects to the crimes that had taken place.

 

Mark Dziedzic 24 years of age was arrested on 09-17-2019 by Investigators with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office at his residence in Garrison, Texas. He was booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail on charges of Burglary of a habitation a 2nd felony, Theft a state jail felony, Burglary of a building a state jail felony and UUMV – state jail felony. 

 

During the investigation, Corey Jimmerson  36 years of age was also identified as another suspect in the case. A warrant was issued for his arrest for Burglary of Habitation 2nd degree felony,  Burglary of Building a state jail felony and  theft a state jail felony.  

 

Jimmerson was arrested on 10-08-2019 at his residence on Cr. 271. Jimmerson attempted to flee from deputies and was found hiding underneath a trailer house. After a long search Jimmerson was taken into custody without incident. Jimmerson was booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail on the above charges. Jimmerson was also charged with evading arrest or detention a Class A misdemeanor. 

 

Both subjects remain in the Nacogdoches County Jail.
